Coaching Principles that Support the Coaching Framework

Head and heart connection. I like to say I work from the “INSIDE OUT” Through assessments, exploration, inquiry and coaching I will help you connect to what you really want, emerging your vision and your greatest potential. That may involve drowning out other voices, the “should do’s”, the “suppose to’s”, the doubt and limiting beliefs. Once you have connected inside, we then focus our attention outwards. Connecting and aligning to what is out in the employment market or within their organizations, how to navigate or connect in a powerful and compelling way.

Slow down. Through deliberate exploration, thoughtful consideration, constructive discussion I will help you gain clarity of vision, certainty of action, knowing what your next steps need to be.

Strength-based approach: I will help you identify your natural talents, skills and strengths to consider how to leverage them and what else needs you need to develop to take the next step or to make the change you want to see. It’s not always all up to you so we will also look at other resources and supports you to move in the direction you want to move in.

Navigating the unknown: I am very comfortable with ambiguity: where things are squishy and wobbly. It is a commonplace to struggle for many people. I help you make sense of the wobble, to anchor to what you do know, the successes you have had. With these anchors in place, I will help you explore what is possible and achievable.

Forward thinking: with a focus on “what and how”, promoting action and focusing on the here and now
Partner shoulder to shoulder: Permission to confess, mess up, and get at it again. Think things through, bounce off ideas to become more secure and certain in your decisions and actions.
Structure: set goals, develop a plan, set into motion change that is sustainable in achieving the impact you want to have. I will hold you accountable and will support you along the way with numerous resources, templates, and approaches, 24/7 email access, implementation support
